Museum

HAP is a unique museum showcasing the development and diversity of the Greek American community and its long and continuous presence in New York and the United States.  Starting in the 21^st century, there are a greater number of American born individuals of Greek descent than there are of the immigrant generation in the US. This demographic shift creates diversity within the community and new pathways through which ethnicity is experienced, expressed, and practiced.

The HAP permanent collections, programs and exhibits help people interact, engage in meaningful dialogues, and make informed decisions about the future of our communities based on our past and present.
